La Femme| Empowered Woman

There is a “Divine La Femme” movement afoot. A movement encouraging women to embrace feminity and inner awesomeness to be able to move more deeply into their own power and autonomy. Empowering girls and women is powerful. Today, we know it is the key to economic growth, political stability, and social transformation. World leaders, experts, scholars and even huge personalities alike are giving their voice to this critical endeavor.

But there's a lot of questions lurking around the corner: How do we empower girls and women? or What exactly is women’s empowerment? Hmm! Do we really care or we just dive because of the hype surrounding women as marketing tool.
An empowered woman is a beautiful woman. There is an air about a strong woman that is undeniably attractive, yet has nothing to do with appearance. She possesses a lasting beauty that radiates from within. She is content with what she has, but that is not to say she does not aspire to improve her life and the lives of the people around her. She strives to do better every single day, and she is motivated by something far more important than material wealth. She knows who she is, what she wants and isn't afraid to go out and get it.
Empowerment is a moment to moment journey that rests on each decision we make. Through the process, an individual becomes an agent of change. More simply put, it’s the “can do” factor, going from “I can’t” to “I can. You know if we as women have more decisions from a place of inner strength, we can create a better life, and ultimately, contribute to more empowered gender.
Allow me to introduce to you the two smart, eloquent, beautiful, and empowered women. Aiza Diuco, founder and CEO of Age Defying Solutions, and Glupa’s latest endorser model Bea Candaza, each looked radiant. They were hard to miss because they are both statuesque and quite striking.

Both women have always worked hard and they have always known which things to prioritize and which things only weigh them down. Beauty with brains and a heart.
“I’ve always said it’s something that is within. Whatever you have within, it radiates, and that’s how you become beautiful. If you keep negative things inside you, people will see it. I believe in inner peace and inner balance.”

“For me, beauty is not just something that you see outside but something that you also feel and see inside. It doesn’t stop at having good features or a perfect skin. It goes deeper than that. A person becomes more beautiful if she has a good heart. And if she has substance. When I say substance, I mean she has to have the necessary knowledge and skills to face the world,” said Ms. Diuco.

Alright, we all need this piece of advice in our lives. This holistic approach to personality development is a welcome change in a seemingly shallow world focused on physical beauty.  If we can't change the situation, better try changing the way we see.
Just like them I am empowered because I know my strengths and I'm not afraid to embrace them. I have the full control of my life, I'm aware of my capabilities, and I'm ready to take on even may biggest dreams. In a time like this, saying that I'm EMPOWERED might sounds easy – but truly being empowered is a different story.

BELIEVE in the POWER of: Y O U! Let that thin air surrounding the empowered Femmes may radiate and blossoms into other's heart.
